The Lufrano Intercultural Gallery 's most recent exhibit includes photographs by Jacksonville native and UNF alumnus Douglas J. Eng. His exhibit, "On Fertile Ground: The Wing Lee Yuen Truck Farm," depicts his grandfather's farm, which produced Chinese produce in Jacksonville from the 1950s-70s.

UNF students experiment on zero gravity in NASA plane

Eight UNF students rode NASA's "Vomit Comet," a plane that simulates reduced gravity for 15 to 30 seconds. While on the plane, the students conducted a test on the flow of fluids in zero gravity.

UNF chemistry program to host renowned scientist in 2015

UNF's Department of Chemistry was awarded the Jean Dreyfus Boissevain Lectureship for Undergraduate Institutions for the 2015 year. This award provides an $18,500 grant to the program, which will be used to allow two undergraduates to conduct summer research, and a well-known researcher to give a lecture to students.

Spinning carnival rides, sticky cotton-candy and do-it-yourself stuffed animals were just a few of the attractions at Night of Fun on Tuesday. Students gathered at Coxwell Amphitheatre on Tuesday evening to enjoy a little bit of the carnival atmosphere. Lines sometimes extended for more than 100 people for the attractions and food. This event was funded by the Student Government as a part of Homecoming Week.
