Birds, alligators, snakes, deer, and even black bears can be seen at different times of the year at the UNF Wildlife Sanctuary, more commonly called the nature trails.
The 365 acres of the sanctuary features around five miles of hiking trails open year-round to UNF students. Many students use these trails for their daily run, or just to explore the beauty right here on the UNF campus.
Eco-Adventure, one of UNF Student Government’s initiated and funded programs, provides free gear rentals for anything from canoes, surfboards, backpacks, and tents.
