A new research grant will provide both students and faculty the chance to contribute to the field of nanomanufacturing.
Assistant professors of chemistry, Dr. Thomas Mullen and Dr. Corey Causey from the department of Chemistry and assistant professor of physics, Dr. Daniel Santavicca from the department of Physics were recently awarded a three-year, $250,000 grant provided by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to do research on nanomanufacturing techniques for electronics and communications.
“The research assists with preparing our students for their future endeavors all the while making meaningful contributions to the scientific community,” Mullen said.
These researchers come from three very different, yet comparative, backgrounds which can enhance the highly collaborative and unique research experience for undergraduates.
