Junior point guard Dallas Moore was named Atlantic Sun Player of the Year Monday by league coaches, making him the first Osprey in program history to receive the honor.
Moore averaged 19.8 points per game this season and surpassed Koran Godwin for the most points in school history (1,513). He also has 50 more assists than the next closest A-Sun competitor.
Matthew Driscoll and his staff brought home the A-Sun Coaching Staff of the Year for the second straight season, and Demarcus Daniels became the second-ever player to win back-to-back A-Sun Defensive Player of the year. Daniels leads the conference with 71 blocks.
Beau Beech was named Atlantic Sun All-Conference First Team for the second straight year, after averaging 15.6 points per game, six rebounds and two assists.
