Beech debuts in NBA Summer League

Beau Beech came out strong in his NBA Summer League debut on Saturday night, helping the Brooklyn Nets take down the Cleveland Cavaliers 79-73.

Beech played 18 minutes and scored ten points, shooting 44 percent from the field. In true Birds of Trey fashion, he attempted six three-pointers, converting on two. Beech also picked up five rebounds, two assists and a pair of blocks.

The Nets Summer League team plays three 40-minute games, traditional games are 48 minutes. Beech’s next chance to take the court will come on Monday against the Atlanta Hawks.
