Rodney Atkins will not be returning to UNF after his Saturday night concert was canceled due to lightning, according to a tweet from Osprey Productions.
Though the fans had a good time, Atkins was pulled off stage after one song by security after prevalent thunder and lighting. UNF senior Sam Herb was only interrupted once due to rain.
Atkins’ next scheduled tour date is Friday Sep. 2 in Gering, Nebraska.
This marks the third concert that’s been hampered by the weather since Spring 2015. Bad weather interfered with shows from Sublime with Rome and Steve Aoki, though both concerts were moved to different on-campus locations.
