Twisted Tuesdays featuring DIY Chalkboards

Where: Osprey Plaza

When: 6:00 p.m.      

Will a chalkboard get you organized this semester? No, but it’s a start and it’s free. There’s a limited supply so get there fast.                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

Wednesday Aug. 31

Button Making Party

Where: LGBT Resource Center

When: 4:00 p.m.

When was the last time you made something? Create a button for your identity and learn about other identities as well. Learn more here


Thursday Sep. 1

Opening Reception for UNF Wood-Fired Ceramics Invitational

Where:  Lufrano Art Gallery, Student Union East, Room 2401

When: 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.

Check out what UNF art students are making. This time, it’s ceramics made from a wood furnace. The exhibit lasts from Sep. 1 – Oct. 15, 2016.


Friday Sep. 2

laugh outLaugh Out Comedy Show

Where: UNF Student Union West, Room 2704

When: 8:00 p.m- 9:30 p.m.

Watch two notable comedians grab the mic for a night of laughs. The annual Laugh Out Comedy Show returns to UNF, sponsored by UNF’s LBGT Resource Center. This year, it’s two LGBT comedians from San Francisco: Irene Tu and Jessica Sele.

Women’s Soccer vs. Kent State

Where: Hodges Stadium

When: 7:00 p.m.

The UNF Women’s soccer team (0-2-2) look for their first win against the Kent State Golden Eagles. If you can’t make it, watch the game on ASun.TV.


Saturday Sep.  3

Earphunk and Gravy

Where: 1904 Music Hall

When: 8:00 p.m.

Two New Orleans progressive funk rock bands, Earphunk and Gravy, take the stage at the 1904 Music Hall. Tickets are $10-15.


Sunday Sep. 4

Women’s Soccer vs. Alabama State

Where: Hodges Stadium

When: 1:00 p.m.
