On Friday night the men’s basketball team was honored for its 2015-2016 run in the UNF Arena.
The team was recognized with two banners commemorating their hard work and accomplishments last year. The Ospreys won the ASUN 2015-2016 Men’s Regular Season Basketball title and went to the first round of the NIT.
In front of a little over one thousand fans, the players, managers and coaching staff were also given rings by UNF’s Athletics Director William “Lee” Moon.
Last season the Ospreys fell to the University of Florida in the first round of the NIT.
North Florida starts its season off against Auburn University on Nov. 11 in Auburn, Alabama.
