Important Dates for Summer 2017

With so little time between spring and summer semesters, it’s easy to lose track of important deadlines. In an effort to keep summer relaxed, here are the most important deadlines students should be aware of:

May 10:

  • Add/Drop and Late Registration begins
  • Summer A, C, 8-week and 10-week classes begin

May 15:

  • Add/Drop and Late Registration ends

May 16:

  • Deadline to Add or Drop Summer A and C classes

May 18:

  • Deadline to pay, pend or defer Summer 2017 tuition and fees. Must be before 5 p.m.

May 29:

  • Memorial Day

June 2:

  • Deadline to complete withdrawal from Summer C Courses with a 25 percent refund
  • Deadline to withdraw from Summer A with no refund

June 9:

  • Deadline to withdraw from 8-week courses with no refund

June 20:

  • Summer A classes end

June 23:

  • Deadline to withdraw from 10-week courses with no refund

June 26:

  • Summer B classes begin
  • Summer B Add/Drop and Late Registration begins

June 30:

  • Deadline to apply for Summer 2017 Graduation
  • Summer B Add/Drop and Late Registration ends

July 3:

  • Deadline to pay, pend or defer Summer B tuition and fees. Must be before 5 p.m.

July 4:

  • Independence Day – The university will be closed

July 7:

  • 8-week Summer courses end

July 14:

  • Deadline to Withdraw from Summer C courses with no refund

July 21:

  • 10-week Summer courses end
  • Deadline to withdraw from Summer B courses with no refund
