Gabby O’Connell out for season

UNF volleyball star Gabby O’Connell will not be playing this year, according to head coach Steve Loeswick.

The outside hitter will miss her sophomore season after suffering an injury. She is currently on crutches, but the exact injury is unknown to Spinnaker.

“Gabby has an injury and will be having surgery, and unfortunately, will not be playing this year,” Loeswick told Spinnaker.

According to the head coach, how the injury happened, what the injury is and O’Connell’s surgery day cannot be shared.

Spinnaker will continue to keep you updated on O’Connell’s injury.
