Student assaulted over a skateboard sale

Students received an Osprey Update about a student who was assaulted in the parking lot of Osprey Cove at 12:20 p.m. today.

According to the update, the student got in the car with three unknown white males to buy a skateboard. He was asked to show the money for the skateboard, when one suspect took the money in his wallet and the other took his backpack, according to the Osprey Update. 

One suspect also punched the student during the incident, according to the update.

The student was able to get his wallet and his backpack before being asked to get out of the car. The car is described as being a four-door, dark blue or gray Hyundai in poor condition with damage on the front end.
