FSCJ President retires

Dr. Cynthia A. Bioteau, the president of Florida State College at Jacksonville, announced that she will be retiring at the end of the semester.

In Bioteau’s letter to the college’s trustees, she said she is proud of what the college has accomplished under her watch. Bioteau helped FSCJ get out of the financial aid crisis from the Department of Education to pay the federal government $3.4 million.

This comes at the same time UNF President John Delaney is looking to retire. The presidential search committee recently gave an update regarding finding Delaney’s replacement.
