UNF students looking for something to do on Wednesday night can come witness history as the Jacksonville Armada host their first-ever playoff match in Jacksonville against Miami United FC. This is the NPSL Sunshine Conference Semifinals, where the winner advances to the Conference Finals.

The Armada reached the Seminfinals by defeating Naples United FC, 2-0. Josh Castellanos, former UNF soccer midfielder, is part of the Armada’s roster. Castellanos has started 10 games this season, scoring four goals and dishing out one assist.

Miami United FC advanced to the Semifinals by a 2-0 victory against Palm Beach United. Some key players for Miami are Midfielders Nicolas Gorobsov and David Ochoa, who lead the squad with six goals each.

The match starts at 7 p.m. and students can receive discounts if they show their student ID at the ticket office.
