The Ospreys have gone 5-0-1 the past six games. After starting off conference play with a 1-1 tie to Stetson, UNF was looking for a big upset against rival FGCU. Florida Gulf Coast is undefeated and is currently first in the conference, defeating some respectable teams, including Ohio State University.

To start out the game, UNF was looking to shutout FGCU by focusing on a stronger defense.

FGCU scored their first goal in the thirty-first minute by Evdokia Popadinova, assisted by Marjorie Boilesen. The Ospreys ended the first half down only one goal.

The Eagles then scored three unanswered goals in the second half. In the sixty-fourth minute, Marjorie Boilesen scored a goal, assisted by Camille Knudstrup.

Florida Gulf Coast scored their third goal in the seventy-fourth minute by Lindsey Patton, assisted by Camille Knudstrup.

Shortly after, FGCU scored their final goal in the eightieth minute by Alyssa Abbondandolo, assisted by Silvana Gordon.

The Ospreys match up with NJIT at home on Friday, Sept. 28 at seven p.m.
