Fullstack scholarship available for UNF Coding Bootcamp

Courtney Green, News Editor

Have your eyes on UNF’s new IT program? Don’t let the cost turn you off! Fullstack Academy is providing a $2000 scholarship to the first class of UNF students to participate in the program.

The scholarship is available to current UNF students, UNF alumni, employer-sponsored applicants, and those in the Jacksonville tech community. The scholarship is applied directly to tuition for the program.

Fullstack Academy is one of the most successful coding bootcamps in the U.S., and UNF’s partnership with them is the second of only two in the country. Many graduates of this program have been hired by tech giants like Amazon, Google and Facebook, according to spokesperson for Fullstack Academy.

The program appears to be designed for working individuals, as all classes are late-night and weekend. It is designed for beginners, but by the end you will be a professional web developer.

The deadline to apply is Sept. 30. Classes begin Oct. 14 and will run for 26 weeks. You can find more information and apply here.
