IPTM awarded $4.5 million in grants to expand law enforcement training online

The Institute of Police Technology and Management at UNF was awarded seven grants totaling $4.5 million. As a not-for-profit organization, the IPTM plans to expand their online training courses with the funds, in hopes to provide law enforcement training for a great sum of officers.

Smokers have one more year to smoke freely before UNF goes smoke-free

Starting August 2015, UNF will begin the Smoke-Free Campus Initiative to help promote healthier living for students, faculty, and staff. Ash receptacles and designated smoking areas will be removed as a result of the university's transition to being a smoke-free environment.
