UNF Men’s Basketball Head Coach Matthew Driscoll was seen at The Flats early this morning with UNFPD officers. A witness said he heard a fight had broken out inside a building where UNF men’s basketball players allegedly live.
When Romelo Banks was 13 years old, he would listen to his mom tell him to keep playing basketball and never give up on his dreams. Banks’ mother passed away shortly after she spoke those words to him, but Banks still follows that advice and uses it as inspiration to this day. Six years later, he has followed her instruction and plays center for the University of North Florida’s men’s basketball team.
Davenport finished off the night with multiple highlight reel dunks, but also had 11 boards, 12 points and five assist giving him his second double-double of the season.
Following a paltry 57.1 percent free throw outing against Southern, much to head coach Matthew Driscoll’s chagrin, the Ospreys (2-3) went 32-39 (82.1 percent) from the stripe on 27 Tiger fouls.
