“I think the university board of trustees knows what’s best for our institution. That’s why the [Board of Governors] originally delegated [authority] out to the schools… they know the heartbeat of our campus,” Carlo Fassi, student body president, said.

Student Government approved $25,000 in leftover student fees for building a veterans memorial park on campus. The park will be between Petway Hall and the Coxwell amphitheatre.

The Military and Veteran’s Resource Center was granted $25,000 from the Student Union Fund Balance as initial funding for a Veterans Memorial. A request from the Executive Branch for $16,064.71 to fund an office build out was granted.
