During the North Florida and Lipscomb matchup, the Ospreys came up on the short end of the stick, losing another close game 66-62.

UNF lead in many of the pivotal stats, but the Bisons still found a way to win. The Ospreys made more field goals, their FG (Field Goal) percentage was seven percent higher, and scored more bench points than Lipscomb, but they could not pull out the victory.

A trio of North Florida players had double-digit scoring efforts. Simone Brown earned the only double-double of the night, and her third of the season. Brown had a team-high of 17 points, and a game-high of 11 rebounds.

Sierra Shepherd scored 15 points and grabbed five rebounds during her play.

Claire Ioannidis rounded the trio off with 12 points and dished out a team-high 8 assist.

North Florida had 16 personal fouls putting Lipscomb on the line 14 times, where they made 10 points.

Lipscomb shot 71 percent from the free throw line while UNF only shot 51. If the Ospreys had made all their free throws, there would have only been a one point difference.

The Ospreys will play their final regular season game and recognize their seniors on Saturday, Feb. 25.

North Florida will face Jacksonville University in part two of the River City Rumble at 1 p.m. in the UNF Arena.
