Two students in Osprey Hall found with marijuana

At approximately 11:43 p.m. on Jan. 7, a UNFPD officer was dispatched to the Osprey Hall in reference to a marijuana odor. Upon arrival at the dorm room, the officer immediately smelled the strong odor of marijuana. The student gave the officer permission to enter his room. Another student was in the room as well.

When the officer asked if there was anything illegal in his room, the student stated that there was. The student then produced a rubber container containing marijuana oil, an electronic cigarette used to smoke the oil, a metal rod with residue, a cardboard paper roll with dryer sheets stuffed inside, and a black zipper case with marijuana residue. The officer requested that the students be sent to Student Conduct.
