If you know anything about drill rapping, then you know the name Waka Flocka Flame. The underground Atlanta rapper, born Juaquin James Malphurs, headlines a benefit concert for The Sanctuary on 8th Street. The show takes place Oct. 13, at Pure Nightclub and plenty of tickets are still available. Doors open at 10 p.m.
Waka Flocka Flame shot to fame in 2009 following his song “O Lets Do It.” The BET Award winner has been a force in rap music since and his highly-anticipated third album Flockaveli 2 is expected to hit shelves sometime this year.
