Demarcus ‘BaeBae’ Daniels signs contract with pro Swedish basketball team

Former UNF basketball player Demarcus “Baebae” Daniels signed his first professional contract to play for the Nässjö Basket club in Sweden.

Nässjö Basket is affiliated with the Swedish Basketball Association. In the 2016-2017 season, the team won 15 out of 35 games.

Daniels was a pivotal part of the Ospreys’ run to March Madness in 2015 and earned the ASUN Tournament MVP award.

In addition to MVP recognition, he was the back-to-back ASUN defensive player of the year (2015, 2016).

Daniels is UNF’s all-time leader in blocks with 173. In his last year, he had 73 blocks with the Ospreys.
