On Aug. 14, UNFPD and Jacksonville Fire Rescue responded to a call regarding a golf cart that crashed against a fire hydrant on campus.

According to the police report, a UNF employee was driving the golf cart on the sidewalk, when the metal bracket that secures the window frame hit a fire hydrant. This caused the golf cart to stop abruptly, injuring the employee.
