No. 8 Florida(2-0) hands North Florida(0-4) their fourth road loss in a row with a commanding 108-68 victory in Gainesville.

For the previous two seasons, UNF had been the host of the SEC team.

The Ospreys started the first half struggling while the Gators got a hot start in the beginning with the score 13-5.

From then on North Florida trailed Florida by double digits.

At the half, the Gators led 45-23 and kept the UNF cold from the field.

Florida started the second half on a 16-6 run to extend its lead on their home court.

UNF struggled from behind the arc with no three-pointer connecting from usual hot shooter Garrett Sams.

The Gators slowed down at one point in the night, but brought the pace back up to finish the game for their second 100 plus victory of the season.

Four players scored double digits with one of them coming from off the bench. Freshman Trip Day scored the team-high 13 points.

Next game will be against Mount St. Mary’s University Nov. 18 at Spartanburg, N.C 4 p.m.
