The North Florida men’s basketball team continues their home stand against the conference-leading Lipscomb Bison.

The Bisons(11-5 overall, 1-0 ASUN)  visit Jacksonville coming off an 86-71 win over the Kennesaw State Owls. In that matchup game, Lipscomb guard Garrison Matthews set a school record of 43 points and posted a career-high 13 boards.

The Ospreys(6-12 overall, 0-1 ASUN) look to bounce back from a stinging defeat at home to crosstown rival Jacksonville Dolphins in a 90-86 loss. Freshman Trip Day has been an offensive presence for UNF in recent games, and should be a player to watch for during this meeting.

North Florida are 41-11 in home games since the start of the 2014-15 season, and have won 15 out of their last 25 meetings against Lipscomb. The last meeting between the squads was in the ASUN Semifinal where No.3 Seed Ospreys upset the No.2 Bisons on the road, 91-85.
