UNF hopes to start a new tradition of online fundraising in its first ever “Giving Day.” The 24-hour fundraiser allows donors to choose what specific projects they want their money to go to.

Donors get to choose from specific university programs including the Lend-A-Wing Pantry, the Bloomberg Lab, the Coggin College of Business, the College of Education and Human Services, MOCA Jacksonville, ONEJax, the Adaptive Toy Project, the Public Service Leadership Program, Student Affairs, the Thomas G. Carpenter Library, UNF’s Greatest Need, the Hicks Honors College, UNF Scholarships, the Environmental Center, the Brooks College of Health, Osprey Club, the College of Computing, Engineering and Construction, and the College of Arts and Sciences.

By the time of publication, UNF’s Greatest Need had the most amount of donors with 164 donors, but the Coggin College of Business raised the most with over $2,000.

The fundraiser will end at midnight tonight, and can be accessed here.
