Advanced screening of Ken Burn’s “Mayo Clinic: Faith, Hope and Science” on campus

WJCT Public Media will be presenting “Mayo Clinic: Faith, Hope and Science,” a Ken Burns Documentary, on Thursday, Sept. 13 in the Lazzara Performance Hall.

The film continues the long-running collaboration between Ken Burns, Erik Ewers and Christopher Loren Ewers. It features the voices of Tom Hanks, Kevin Conway, Sam Waterston and Peter Coyote. The film also features interviews from John McCain and Dalai Lama among other interviews with former patients at the Mayo Clinic.

The viewing will be sponsored by the Mayo Clinic and will feature a panel discussion afterward with the film’s creators.

The event will be moderated by Melissa Ross, a host and producer of WJCT’s First Coast Connect.

The screening starts at 7 p.m. and the panel discussion starts at 8 p.m.
