Didn’t get a chance to vote during the primary election? Here is your last chance. Tuesday, Oct. 9, is Florida’s deadline to register to vote. If you are 18 and older and have not done so already, register here. If you are unsure if you are registered or just want to update your information, do so here.

Whether you are pleased or disappointed about the current political atmosphere, you should vote so that the nation understands how the majority of the youth feels. After all, according to government statistics, roughly only 46 percent of 18 to 24-year-olds actually vote, meaning that community members who fall in this demographic tend to be underrepresented.

The the general mid-term election will take place on Nov. 6, 2018.

Remember, you don’t have a voice if you don’t vote.
