NASA’s InSight Lander is scheduled to arrive on the planet Mars at 2:54 p.m. today, Nov. 26.

The NASA craft has traveled about 300 million miles over a period of more than six months after being launched from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The craft will actually land about seven minutes earlier than the projected time, but the seven-minute difference is reportedly the amount of time the signal takes to reach Earth.
