UNF employee found deceased in the Student Union West; No Foul Play suspected

University Police Department and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of UNF employee Michael Jones, according to an Osprey Update. The 52-year-old was who was found sitting in a chair deceased on the third floor of the John A. Delaney Student Union. There are no signs of foul play, however, the investigation is ongoing.

“There is no further information on this incident at this time,” UNF Public Relations Director Joanna Norris told Spinnaker.

The third floor of Building 58W reopened at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
