UNF shined bright in volleyball, earning all three ASUN weekly awards this week.

Ashley LaBorde, a sophomore defensive specialist, earned defensive player of the week. This is her first career honor. She recorded a career high 30 digs against Jacksonville University and has been a force in the backcourt, totaling 293 digs on the season.

Katarina Raicevic earned her first career player of the week award after a stellar performance against the Dolphins, where she tallied her second double-double. The junior has been a solid consistent player for the Ospreys all season, averaging 2.64 kills per set, 1.27 digs per set and swinging a .189 hitting percentage.

Gabby O’Connell has been dominating the court during her first season as an Osprey. The outside hitter has earned the freshman of the week accolade four times this season. The hitter has earned 285 kills this season alone, and still has three more years of play to rack up many more. During the JU game O’Connell earned her tenth double-double of her freshman season.

The team will travel to Tallahassee to face the FAMU Rattlers on Oct. 25 at 6 p.m.
