Thomas Beaucham is now student body president

Thomas Beaucham, who was sworn in as Senate President back in April, has taken the position of Student Body President. This follows Samantha Mims’ departure on Monday, Oct. 16 and there being no current vice president to fulfill this position.

President Beaucham stepped up after the Senate declined the appointment of Chief of Staff Gloria Turner as VP on Oct. 13.

President Beaucham was unable to give any comments at the time of publication.
