With Independence day coming up there are quite a few things to do.
On July 3, the Jumbo Shrimp will be hosting a Independence day event where the first 2,000 people to go through the gates will receive a patriotic Jumbo Shrimp cap. Admission is $5.
If you’re going to be in the Downtown area, there will be a firework show at 9:45 pm along the St. Johns River.
The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens will be hosting a buy-one-get-one offer. No coupons are necessary and tickets must be purchased at the gate.
Independence Day at Jacksonville Ice
If you’re interested in beating the summer heat, the Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex will be hosting an Independence Day event, where you will be able to skate from 10 am to 12 and from 1 pm to 5 pm. All active and retired military skate FREE with a valid military ID and family members get $2 off admission.
Independence Day Adoption Special
If you’re interested in adopting a furry friend, the Jacksonville Humane Society will be offering free adoptions from July 4th to the 7th.
If you’re interested in live music, family fun, food and fireworks, the Riverside Arts Market will be hosting a 4th of July event running from 6 pm to 10 pm.
Stranger Things season 3
If big events aren’t your thing and going out to see fireworks is the last thing you want to do on the 4th of July, Stranger Things season 3 will drop this day in regular Netflix fashion with all episodes available at once.
