Finals week is here, and the Thomas. G. Carpenter library started it off right by giving students a chance to play with puppies between exams.

The library held a PAWS Your Stress day, where students were able to play with service dogs in training.

“They’re just here to naturally comfort the students and give love, which is exactly what all puppies do,” said Tabitha Bishop, the president of the UNF Puppy Club.

The dogs varied between seasoned service dogs and puppies-in-training. Students were given a certain allotted time to sit with their dog of choosing and relax for a bit.

“The dog based serotonin is really nice,” said Tayla, a freshman majoring in biology.

This is just the beginning of finals week at the library, so be sure to check out the rest of the activities the library has planned.
