Days before the TaxSlayer Bowl, the Mississippi State Bulldogs football team will practice at UNF, according to their athletics website.

According to the TaxSlayer Bowl press release, the Bulldogs have an 8-4 overall record, and are currently ranked 23rd.

This their eight consecutive bowl appearance, which is a school record according to Mississippi’s athletics website. This is their third appearance at the TaxSlayer Bowl. 

The Bulldogs will leave Starkville on Christmas afternoon to come to the Sunshine State for their first practice the following day. The team will practice three times in Jacksonville, and walk through EverBank Field.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs will take on the Louisville Cardinals in the 73rd annual TaxSlayer Bowl at EverBank Field at noon on Dec. 30.

“It will be a great match-up and we are pleased to host these two top-notch teams and their players, coaches and fans in our city for a great day of football,”  Chairman of the Taxslayer Bowl David Long said.
