MLK scholarship offers four students $1000

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship offers four undergraduate students a chance to win $1,000 scholarship. The Intercultural Center for Peace is sponsoring the scholarship. They are looking for students who have worked hard academically and participated in on-campus activities and/or community service.
Applicants must be a full time student, have a UNF GPA of 3.0 or above and must be an active member of a university and/or a community organization.
Applicants also have to write an essay on how Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. have influenced them and their actions within the community.
Applications are due Friday, Jan. 19. Recipients of the scholarship will have to attend the 37th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Luncheon on Feb. 7 at the Herbert University Center.
