Jason Ford pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of children back in November of last year, and last week, U.S. District Judge Beth Bloom sentenced Ford to 15 years in prison.

Ford was accused of impersonating an assistant softball coach at UNF, going by the name of Jeff Conrad, in order to obtain sexual content from female student-athletes which he made false promises of college softball scholarships to.

The 42-year-old is a former teacher at Northview High School and was taken into federal custody back in May of last year. Officials say Ford began discussing engaging in sexual activity with an undercover agent, who was posing as a 15-year-old softball player and offered to grant her a scholarship and $30 worth of gift cards in exchange for a sexually explicit video.

According to the Southern District of Florida, Ford had these inappropriate conversations with females in Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee.

Judge Bloom also required Ford to be put on 20 years of supervised release and to be registered as a sex offender.
