Ospreys finish third at ASUN Women’s Golf Championship

After three finishes in the top 10, the UNF Women’s Golf team placed third at the ASUN Women’s Golf Championship.

Leading the way for the Ospreys in the final round, Junior Sydney Shrader shot 75 with Freshman Liss Davalos not far behind, shooting 76 for the day.

Davalos led the Ospreys overall in the tournament with a score of 229.

Sophomore Mindy Herrick and Junior Teresa Conroy finished with a score of 79 in the final round.

Shrader was named to the All ASUN First Team and the All Academic team.

In her Freshman year, Davalos was named to the All ASUN First Team and All-Academic team.

Conroy was honored for her efforts in the classroom as she was named to the ASUN All-Academic Team, ASUN Scholar-Athlete, and also made the All ASUN Second Team.

Herrick was also named to the All ASUN Second Team and Freshman Daniela Gonzalez made the ASUN All-Freshman team.

The UNF Women’s Golf Coach Joanne Berglund was honored with the ASUN Women’s Tennis Coach of the Year award.
