After three stellar seasons, Junior Tanner Murphy was selected in the eighteenth round by the New York Mets in the 2019 MLB Draft.

Murphy racked up multiple accolades thus far in his UNF career like the 2019 ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year, two-time ASUN First Team, and never finished hitting south of .288 in his three seasons at UNF.

In Murphy’s Junior year at UNF, he hit .288 with six homers and 37 RBI’s while stealing 19 bases.
