After winning two out of three games in their weekend series against Lipscomb, the Ospreys have punched a ticket to play in the ASUN Baseball Championship Tournament. Some key players in this series were RHP Frank German, infielder Chris Berry, and Max Law.
In the first game on Friday against the Bison, Frank German pitched a gem by hurling seven innings of two run ball, punching out nine in route to the 4-2 victory. In game two, Chris Berry was swinging the magic stick as he collected two hits and drove in two of the Ospreys only runs, adding on to his twelfth multi-hit game of the season in the 6-5 loss. Freshman infielder, Max Law, delivered on a pinch hit two run single to propel the Ospreys to their second win of the series, 3-1. The ASUN Championship Tournament will be held at Harmon Stadium from May 23 to the 26th.
