Perkins exits Nationals race with injury

In the 5,000 meter event at the NCAA Track and Field National Championships, Junior Noah Perkins of UNF exited midway through the race with an injury.

Perkins had a standout Junior season, meeting new personal records in the Indoor 5,000 meter (14:21.91), the Outdoor 5,000 meter (14:02.65) and the Outdoor 1,500 meter (3:47.40).

The Ospreys will return for Cross Country season this fall.
