UNF student, Jesse Martinez, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment trial on Wednesday, May 30. Martinez was arrested on April 9 for threatening to leak another student’s nude photos online if sexual favors were not performed, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

22-year-old Jesse Martinez was charged with intent to compel and unlawful use of a two-way communication device. If found guilty of both charges, Martinez faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.

Martinez’s pretrial is set for Tuesday, June 26.
