UNF merchandise now sold at local Target stores

National retail chain Target has added UNF branded merchandise to its shelves, including an assortment of t-shirts, polos, fleeces and hats. The merchandise can be found in three Target stores, including the St. Johns Town Center, Beach Boulevard and the Jacksonville Beach locations.

Update: UNF student falsifies Fine Arts Center garage robbery report

The UNF student who said she was robbed by two masked men in the Fine Arts parking garage last week admitted to police today she fabricated the story, according to an Osprey Update email sent out earlier this morning. She has been charged with filing a false police report.

New UPS store opens on campus

A full-service UPS store opened in Building 8, near Sbarro and Auxiliary services. The new store offers printing services, individual mailboxes, a student storage program and a move in/move out program.

Piccadilly Circus visits UNF

Parents and children gathered in front of the UNF Arena Thursday when the Piccadilly Circus made its stop in Jacksonville. While activists held vigil outside, holding signs spreading the message of animal cruelty dealt by the circus, attendees streamed into the arena.

Parking permits for the 2012-13 school year go on sale

As of Monday, Parking and Transportation Services is allowing students with more than 60 credit hours and AA transfer students to purchase parking permits. Parking permits began to go on sale in stages starting July 16, depending on the the number of credit hours a student a earned thus far.
